Instagram Videos Launched
After sending out coffee ring stained invites to press via snail mail, simply reading “A small team has been working on a big idea. Join us for coffee and learn about a new product”, social networking giant Facebook has set rumours flying as to what the mystery product could be.
“Getting video on Instagram is a move that would make sense. Specifically, it looks like a direct response to the rising popularity of video-sharing services, namely Twitter’s Vine. Facebook enabled clickable hashtags last week, allowing users to view related posts in the same way as other social networks such as Twitter. “We’ll continue to roll out more features in the coming weeks and months” Greg Lindley wrote on Facebook’s blog.
