Producing a series of web commercials or online video adverts needn’t be complicated or expensive. If you’ve got a new product or service that needs promoting, why not take advantage of social media to distribute your video content to viewers?

93% of marketers currently use social media for business, so it’s no secret that making the most of those company Facebook and Twitter pages are a great way to interact with existing clients, potential customers and industry experts. Whether you’re tweeting a link to an exciting article, or scouting for talent on LinkedIn, you’re sure to reach the right people through a carefully thought out social media marketing strategy.

With more professionals spending time on social media, it’s key that you keep your content fresh and  interesting to gain a following and draw attention to your brand. This is where campaigns that consist of several visual elements can be a great investment. Tamsin Oxford from Useful Social Media states that “Content that includes video, images and text that are interconnected will build on one another to create an integrated social experience.” So if a potential customer is able to follow a stream of related content, they may be more likely to get in touch with your company.

“If you have videos on YouTube, you can incorporate them into every part of your social media strategy. On most social networks—Facebook, Google+ and Twitter—you can share a link to any video on YouTube and people can watch your videos directly on those networks.” says  of Social Media Examiner.  This is where a series of web commercials can really benefit your social media campaign. You can easily create several short adverts to share on social media, along with information and images to accompany the campaign.

At Tech TV, we recently completed a series of web commercials for betting firm Titan Bet, who are running a competition to win a dream job in Rio this summer. The ads feature former Arsenal and England footballer Ray Parlour talking to the camera, with a fast and punchy edit to get the message across quickly and stylishly.

The 6 videos were shot in just one day, along with a behind the scenes video. The edit was then completed in just a few days and the videos were gradually posted across the Titan Bet social media channels including YouTube and Twitter. The behind the scenes video was also released as an additional promotional post.
